The Blood Moon of Crucifixion
After Jesus was removed from the cross the moon rose as a blood moon. Since the moon was in full “Blood” eclipse when it rose then it apparently started about the same time Jesus died on the cross.
This painting is #1 of my Religious Series. It is done on a 16 x 20 inch stretch canvas in acrylics with a clear enamel topcoat for protection. The sides are painted so a frame is not required.
